Reporting to the VP of Toy Division, the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Perform research and market assessments to identify opportunities with both existing retail partners and new retailers that align with Yvolution’s strategic objectives
  • Manage and grow Yvolution North American Sales in selected territories to best service the retailer needs now and in the future
  • Utilize Yvolution’s current sales experiences to develop selling strategies to grow and develop the North American market
  • Leverage global view of performance to discern best practices
  • Assist in the development and delivery of sales presentations through the use and analysis of worldwide retailer sales data
  • Identify barriers to meeting customer commitments and Yvolution’s objectives and relentlessly pursue solutions through creative thinking and flexibility
  • Define project scope, determine priorities and expectations, assign ownership, measure progress and facilitate decisions
  • Work with VP of Toy Division to create annual budgets (sales, expense, etc)
  • Develop and maintain proper reports to best run the business as well as communicate to management the sales performance and performance against set goals in the designated region
  • Deliver against aggressive timelines

 

The requirements for this role include:

  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership/project management experience in a fast-paced consumer product environment
  • Ability to grasp the strategic big picture and act accordingly
  • Demonstrated success in management and problem solving
  • Independent self-starter with excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to adapt to different cultural environments
  • Proven leader - builds solid horizontal and lateral relationships; positions self as communication hub; can motivate others into action / ownership
  • Ability to spearhead diverse company initiatives and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Results oriented - continually strives to exceed goals; demands quality and will not accept substandard performance from self and others
  • Capacity to understand and implement technical business models involving multiple 3rd parties
  • Excellent analytical, business and computer skills
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced database knowledge and strong financial aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a diverse audience
